Wie in Dos-Lacour, einem armen Dorf im Zentrum von Haiti, auf der anderen Seite des Lac de Peligre. Dort haben die Kinder keine Möglichkeit, zur Schule zu gehen, weil es keine Schule gibt. Seit den 50er Jahren wird der Fluss auf der Höhe von Péligre gestaut und ein Wasser- kraftwerk betrieben. Dort werden 25% der Elektrizität von Haiti gewonnen.
