University Physics II - Full Coverage. University of Arkansas Precision Education Group. The Full Coverage implementation of class is in its second semester. The course includes most topics that are presented in a traditional introductory text, and all conceptual and graphical coverage of the Restricted Class. The additional coverage requires students to learn some material on their own through the course readings. The class generates a stellar normalized gain on the CSEM of 50%. She found that the text had become less readable, less integrated, and more mathematical over a twenty year period. Click here for the thesis. University of Arkansas Precision Education Group. Jennifer McGee, now at Colorado, performed a detailed student of the effect of different student behavior on their test average and conceptual gain. A detailed measurement of the actions a student performs in an introductory physics class is presented. The correlation between various student actions and hourly test average and normalized gain is calculated. The correlation analysis shows that reading has a disproportionate influence on conceptual gain.
