Cool and Delicious: Kate’s Pesto – Dwell Richly
https://dwellrichly.wordpress.com/2011/07/09/cool-and-delicious-kates-pesto
Cool and Delicious: Kate’s Pesto. July 9, 2011. If you’ve got a source of fresh free basil, this is a great deal. If you don’t, it’s probably prohibitively expensive. I had the recipe for a decade before I had the basil to make it, but it was worth the wait. The recipe came from someone living far from easy access to traditional pesto ingredients like parmesan cheese and pine nuts, so it offers a creative solution to this dilemma. 8 cups fresh basil, loosely packed. 1 cup almonds or walnuts. You are comm...

Orzo with chickpeas – Dwell Richly
https://dwellrichly.wordpress.com/2014/07/12/orzo-with-chickpeas
July 12, 2014. May 19, 2016. This is a modified version of the Couscous with Chickpeas recipe from the 1997 edition of the Joy of Cooking. It’s a simple and interesting meatless main dish, and I usually eat it cold, so it’s convenient for packed lunches. There’s not too much over-the-stove time, so it’s a pretty good summer option, too. 1 1/3 cup orzo. 1 cup sliced almonds. 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. 2 teaspoons chicken broth powder/paste. 1 cup golden raisins. Welco...

July 13, 2013. July 1, 2013. Are new to my vocabulary, and a lovely addition to the produce I can harvest from the garden! The ones pictured above are a little past their prime for cooking, but I used them nonetheless. I was on the other side of the globe while they were at their peak. Aren’t they pretty? I chopped the rest up and made them into garlic pesto. It is fantastic! For the time being, here’s the basic recipe. It’s modified from the one. Found at Food 52. Like my basil pesto recipe. 2 Comments ...

Inspiration – Dwell Richly

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy. Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other. And forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love. Which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ. Rule in your hearts. Since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Life in the Shoe.

Consequently, categorizations of these tools are forming in my thinking. The challenge is to keep on top of the various uses, ratings and usefulness of various tools, and create a simple-to-use faculty recourse to encourage and guide implementation. Havin...
