Since November last year I've been contributing a weekly Agony Uncle column to the uk.gay.com website. I'm a journalist, I'm a psychotherapist, add the two together, you get agony uncle, eh? Well yeah, except journalists are there to entertain readers, not help people (as if! And psychotherapists don't actually give advice, knowing that everyone's story is infinitely more complex than it may appear on the surface. Sometimes write back and say thank you. Which makes it all worth while.
