A new beginning in 2013. July 17, 2013. It is truly the last day of the remodel. I am going to miss having Brad here all day – we kid, laugh and I learn a lot from him. plus, when it is hot, I can leave the wndows and door open when I leave because he is here. I was very surprised the other day when our next door neighbor told us we can use the bark in their pile out by their drive. We have wanted to put something on the flowerbeds rather than just bare earth and weeds coming up. So last weekend, Eddie is out with the garden cart taking trips back and forth for bark. It immediately reminded me of the jam Mom used to make from scratch – I loved her apricot-pineapple the best. I had to buy it and then Eddie and I started talking about it because he loved the apricot jam his Mom made. Funny (peculiar) how something so simple can generate so many wonderful memories.
