I was one of the first in our company to get to work with Halo's propriety programs 'Bonobo' and 'Sapien' and therefore quickly stepped up as a jack-of-all-trades technician to everyone on the team who was in need of assistance. I created of schedules and proxy meshes for team members on the levels 'Harvest' and 'Shatter', which I was responsible for as a Level Artist/Primary Artist. The biggest challenge in Shatter was hands down the fact that half the level had to be covered by shadow.

These images show environments that I was responsible for as a Layout Artist for the videogame Star Trek. I did layout, lighting and quite a bit of polish-modeling on the caves to suit my needs in composition and storytelling. There wasn't any concepts for this environment, so I had a lot of creative freedom to work with. LevelDesign was done by Tim Fields. Most rocks were created by Adrian Migliazza, including a first pass on the rough cave-shapes.

Click for trailer) is a puzzle and exploring game about finding the guarden of Eden. To get there you'll have to make your way through several caves with puzzles and traps, made to stop you. I was responsible for creating the basic levelshape, textures and compositions of smaller objects. Objects like the big statues and crates as seen above were made by other artists. Concepts are designed by Bang Phan, Maartje Heere and Sebastiaan van Asperen.

A level build in the UDK for the canceled game Nomos. The story about this environment is that it's a refuge cave-camp where people try to rebuilt their life after their war-torn history. This above area is the main hall, a HUB-area, which connects to other areas like sleeping quarters, garden and theather. Concept art of the environment designed by Bang Phan. I requested objects from the art team, usually based on proxy-models that I created, in order to compose interesting vistas and apply little corners of storytelling by using a visual medium.
