Isn’t passion what a good author brings out in his or her reader? The mere fact that a fellow student had any emotion – happy, sad, disgust, intrigue – and expressed that emotion in class, accomplished some of what a good author strives to evoke from a reader. Made me reflect on my own past and share that memory with my daughter.
