From Rain to Dust. Thursday, September 26, 2013. Before I was tired. We have been in school for a month. I don't remember what it is like to not feel tired. There have been days when I come home from school, take a nap, wake up, and wonder how I was even awake before the nap. Either way, I am loving it but tired. 1 My student who gave me sour patch kids one day. 2 Teachers to turn to and ask for help. 3 My students who just "get it". 4 The chance I have to laugh and have my life changed by these kids.

I read it to them which was hard but I do the same things my students do. This poem is about the moments when I see a baby or receive a bill in the mail for my D and C.
