Thursday, July 28, 2011. You May have to kiss a lot of toads. We got a real laugh from the morning line up (the toads get in water to eat whatever they find and rehydrate) to exit pond. Larger toad appears to be practicing for some serious rockclimbing. Doesn't take much to amuse us here on Buhlaland - and that is good - with weather guessers doing a countdown on number of 10o F days in a row - we are grateful for inexpensive amusement close to the air conditioned ceiling fanned house! 189; cup butter.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. A couple of week-ends ago, on a beautiful, crisp, sunny day, we had to run to town to pick up some things from Lowe's. Since all 5 of us were together, we did something we haven't before. we split up. Hubby and son dropped us girls off at Antique Alley and they went to on to the hardware store. Franny hadn't been in a while and she found LOTS of goodies - including a dinette from either the 40's or 50's. It has the aluminum trim and legs - VERY neat! Excellent condition, too!
