We have thought very carefully about the shape of the boat, the colour of clouds and the different art media we can use. We found some great fabric for the sails and the rigging! We are Class 2! Proud of My #Selfie. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Ships biscuits and Shrewsbury biscuits, part two. We have done so much maths today in class 2! We started off with measuring weights of ingredients and we had to think very carefully about the equipment that we needed. A ruler wouldn't help! We had to look at the recipe carefully and we had to halve the ingredients so we had enough to go round. More tricky maths! We are Class 2! Proud of My #Selfie. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Oh dear, we seem to have lost the Beebot maps in school. We have decided to make some more Darwin -Galapagos maps! How on Earth will we do that? After some big thinking, we decided that we needed to find out how far a beebot actually moved. We all agreed it was 15cm! This helped us work out how big the squares on our map needed to be. Measuring and marking out took a lot of team work! Then we were ready to paint! Mantle of the expert.

We are Class 2! Proud of My #Selfie. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. After cooking we all became ship builders. We had to use our measuring skills to make scale models of HMS Beagle. It was really hard! We learned that it was better to measure together. We learned to listen carefully to instructions and start at the bottom. We also has to remember to get the depth right as well as the length.
