I risked getting stung with nettles and thistles to get this picture. I didn't really need to go to those lengths as this beautiful Jersey cow wandered closer to us to see what we were doing. After a trying and restless week, Mom finally fell asleep around 8 o'clock this morning, and is now resting peacefully and pain-free in God's warm embrace.
