Eileen's Attic: January 2009
http://eileensattic.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2009. It is a good time to stay indoors. This is the window where my Christmas tree once stood a few weeks ago. Looks like the snow and ice is bending down our trees outside. I hope it didn't break off the branches. In the spring, a robin or a cardinal usually builds it's nest right here and I like to watch their family through the window. They don't seem to pay any attention to me as they gather their twigs and fluff to build, then lay and hatch their eggs. Leaves and purple buds.

Friday, August 21, 2009. A little too much pistachio please. Yes It is a bit much. isn't it? I have been downstairs sorting and purging all week. Lots of stuff to go to the thrift shop. And it feels great! I keep thinking of her now, and hearing her voice as she taught me to hand quilt with tiny stitches. I keep meaning to show you my new little scissors I got at the Quilt Convention in Columbus in June. They are the sharpest little things I've ever had. and isn't the bird adorable? But the lady who made...

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Recycled Christmas Card Globes. Instead of putting them in the recycling bin, or worse yet throwing them in the trashcan. here is something fun and pretty you can make with all those Christmas cards you received this year. I found this tutorial the other day on. S blog. Not hard. you could even set the children down at the table with scissors, ruler, pencil and glue stick. let them make some to decorate their rooms. For Christmas. I said "here is my next scrappy quilt! Christma...

Thursday, June 23, 2011. Yesterday's mail arrived and with it was a box wrapped in brown paper from Oklahoma. I knew it was my partner, Linda, from the Santa Sack Swap.yippee, my first delivery of six before Christmas. Look at this gorgeous sack and I put the 2 gifts for this month in and pulled the cording tight so I wouldn't peek. I LOVE surprises, so I wouldn't peek anyway. This is a gorgeous Yucca plant that we have, but I hate it! Monday, June 13, 2011. Yeah, I'm here! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Extended Jacobs Family News. A place to post events that occur among the descendants of Ludwig and Elizabeth Jacobs. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. A super evening with Sandra's family. Almost all attend the same church in Port Charlotte and among them are quite a few teachers. Extended Jacobs Family News. A place to post events that occur among the descendants of Ludwig and Elizabeth Jacobs. Monday, April 26, 2010. A Memorable Day, April 24, 2010. The wedding ceremony was held in Mount Olivet United Methodist Church in Wheeling, West Virginia. Mrs Wheeler has a severe case of cancer. While we were all aware of that fact, it did not detract from the festive event, the ceremony itself. We wish Bo and Beth the very best as they establish their home where God will be honored.
