Enter freely, and of your own free will…. Skip to primary content. 33 Now That They Are Gone. October 30, 2016. Image by Witthaya Phonsawat, courtesy of freedigitalphotos.net. What happens to the house now they are gone? What happens now the rooms are all shut up? Locks turned in every key hole, windows barred with thick blocks of iron. Rust is gathering on the panes, on the old door handles and window frames. Gasping, those who wait outside the walls are aching for the decay inside that house. There had...

Lost in a Field of Dandelions. A to Z Challenge 2015. On other pages…. December 30, 2016. Any New Year’s goals? I hate the idea of resolutions. They seemed doomed to fail from the start. However, goal setting can be done at any point. Good goal setting involves the following components:. They can be short term or long term. If you set long term goals, remember to eat that elephant one bite at a time. So break it down into smaller bite sized short term goals. Good luck with your goals this year! The Old G...

She woke up suddenly with an awareness of her surroundings. Sharp eyes peered around the room. The disparity gave away his outline. Dark and shadowed, he watched her as she slept. “I see you. So you might as well come out of the deep shadows.”. He stepped forward tilting his head thoughtfully. “You’ve matured since we last met.”. 8221; she asked. He tilt...

Lost in a Field of Dandelions. A to Z Challenge 2015. On other pages…. December 18, 2016. At one time I knew love Felt its touch caress my skin Smelled its scent seduce me Tasted its intoxication Seen its colors wrap around me Heard its song whisper to my soul At one time I knew Love But no more Now I know something else Felt its thorns pierce my skin Smelled another woman’s perfume Tasted the bitterness of rejection Seen the colors fade to gray Heard the discordant notes Still At one time I knew Love.

https://lostinafieldofdandelions.wordpress.com/a-to-z-challenge-2015
Lost in a Field of Dandelions. A to Z Challenge 2015. On other pages…. A to Z Challenge 2015. 2015 is the first year I’ve participated in the A to Z Challenge and I’m enjoying it greatly. What started out as a plan to do a series of short stories has become a series of chapters and vignettes into a small town called Benning. I did not give it a state because we all have visited or lived in THAT small town. A is for Abandonned. B is for Beacon. C is for Casual Encounter. D is for Divulge. E is for Evidence.

Dunja ...
Eilis' Thoughts
Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Another aspect I have mixed feelings about is the whole mourning of brain ships. These shell people and ships are designed to last hundreds of years. So the makers know that the ships will go through many brawns in a natural lifetime. Wouldn't it make sense to condition the shell people to deal with mourning and loss? Friday, December 3, 2010. Will she go mad from wanting those things? This is becoming an very interesting book. Monday, November 29, 2010. Okay, so when I first s...
