Friday, August 13, 2010. Today is Friday the 13th and I'm excited as I moved a little further along with this technology class. I have bought new speakers for our classroom as well as a digitized recorder where I will be using to download podcasts onto my wiki. This is exciting and I see much potential that I will be sharing with all of you shortly. The beach was glorious today and our summer fun is coming to an end shortly. Enjoy. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Aug 24th; 1 week until school begins. Today I went into DMS to do a little more preparations for next week. I am very excited to share with you our new web-based keyboarding system, edutyping. No more Type To Learn for us at least this year. I will continue to work both at home and at school so that our first week will go smoothly. I did a little school shopping today with my daughter. 31 stores are now open at the Warwick Mall which makes things much easier for us. Wow Dylan...

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Getting Ready to Blog with Mr. G (creator of Edutyping). As you know, we have spent the last couple of days setting up class email accounts so that we can both learn about emailing as well as doing things like blogging with others. We are preparing to blog with Mr. G, an NK parent, an NK coach, and the creator of Edutyping, our new keyboarding on-line program. I will be setting up a time with him when he will be able to addess any comments, issues, or questions that you post.
