Monday, May 24, 2010. This past weekend we went to a community Fly and Fling. It was pretty cool to see all of the kites and watch some professionals with their stunt kites. It was a hot day, so we didn't stay for too long, but Cooper liked watching the kites in the sky. Cooper is getting smarter everyday. He has started trying to put these rings back onto the stand. It usually takes him a long time, but once he gets it he will clap his hands and smile. Posted by Brittany and Colby. Mom and Dad Bushman.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. This was such a fun Christmas with Cooper. I couldn't believe how many presents were under the tree with just our family, Melanie's family and Mom and Dad. Cooper's first look at what Santa had brought! Cooper's big present: the exercauser. Cooper actually did an awesome job unwrapping his presents. He would grab a piece and rip it off and then grab another piece. Cooper and I both love his exercauser! Cooper and his cousin Bentley. Posted by Brittany and Colby.

Saturday, March 27, 2010. For the beginning of spring break we traveled up to Dallas to visit Stephanie and Tyler's families. We had a lot of fun spending time with them: talking, laughing, and relaxing. Colby and Tyler had fun playing guitar and showing off their skills. That night we went to Stephanie's for dinner and enjoyed their music room upstairs. Colby, Dave, and Jaren did an awesome job playing together. The next day we had dinner at Tyler's and got to spend a lot of time talking with each other.

Sunday, November 15, 2009. I recently started working part time and I am loving it! It is wonderful to get to spend the entire day with Cooper 3 times during the week. I had dreams of when I would be working part time - how I would have so much time to clean the house, cook good meals, and pursue some hobbies. So far none of this has happened! Good times in West Texas. Monday, May 4, 2009. First Date and Prom! A couple of weekends ago Ryan had his first date. Since only Juniors and Seniors get to go to prom a girl from our church organized a prom. Here's Ryan with his date (first real date)! He got to practice his Gentlemen skills while he put on her corsage. He also spent time shopping for just the right tie to match her dress. They got together with another group of kids and all had dinner at another friends house before the dance.

Thursday, December 5, 2013. We had a great Halloween this year. It was so fun watching how excited Evie was for it. We carved pumpkins for FHE the week before Halloween. Evie was a great helper. Here is the finished product! We told Evie to make a scared face since the jack-o-lantern was eating her.but she was too excited to be scared! On Halloween day we painted faces on them. Evie and I went on a little Mommy/Daughter date to the discovery center. She loves that place! So you can see the tail!
