Saturday, October 24, 2009. The judge declared, "After that affirmation, how could I do anything but approve Maella's adoption? Both sets of our parents were also there and my sister, Kris. That girl is not happy if you lay her down for a nap or bedtime without a book, or two, or three! She'll reach for her book basket and cry. Monday, November 1, 2010. We had a wonderful Halloween! Maella made the cutest little Monarch Butterfly! She wore it right out to Walmart and the grocery store that morning! O) When I showed her the butterfly costume she couldn't wait to try it on! We had a wonderful time trick-or-treating with our new neighbors! We are so enjoying our new home and neighborhood! Tuesday, January 12, 2010. It just dawned on me. Yesterday I was going through my 2009 calendar. As I flipped to May and saw the picture I had put on there of Maella it dawned on me for the first time. we knew for a long time we would name her Maella and she was born in the month of May! How cool is that? We had a wonderful first Christmas. We hope to be moving into our new home sometime later this month but we're on no time schedule really. Thanks for checking in with us! Sunday, March 11, 2012. This is our church's first year to have AWANA. Last Saturday, the kids had an opportunity to participate in the Pinewood Derby. They were very excited to make their own cars and decorate them any way they wanted. Their cars weren't the fastest but they had a really good time.
