Tuesday, June 14, 2011. DAY 43 (May 27. DAY 44 - 45. Winds were brutal on I-40 today. Gusts pummeled the motor home and we estimated them to be 30 mph, with sustained SSW winds at 25 . Our fuel mileage was 6.5 mpg, proving winds do a number on the mpg. Sure wish we'd had a tail wind today. Winds picked up by the afternoon, with sustained at 30 and gusts 45 . DAY 46 (May 30th). Saturday, January 28, 2012. ART CLASS and TUBAC, AZ. She hasn't done a sketch of me yet.I'm waiting! I've investigated her tote bag that holds all her 'art stuff'. The smells are wonderful. Really! A little dust from the ground, shavings from those 'sticks' that make the marks on the drawing pad, and that 'gummy, stretchy' thing she uses frequently. She calls it an 'eraser.' I'll keep posing. Friday, January 30, 2015. January 2015 – Gila Bend and Organ Pipe Cactus Nat’l Monument. We spent a week in Gila Bend (AZ). At Augie’s Quail Trail RV Park.
