Today brought highly variable winds, which started from the north east and finished in the opposite direction! I arrived this morning at about 10:15 and received a nice new fleece at registration. We had a quick briefing to decide on kit at 11:30 and then headed down to the boats to get set up. Usual routine of briefings this morning. We managed to get lots of good racing in with a steady south-easterly all day. We seemed to be positioned in an area of the bay where there was very soft mud on the bottom, so both me and the pin boat had issues with our anchors dragging at various points during the day. ...
