Books, Movies, Religion, and maybe some Politics. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. 3 days and counting. We've almost made it. 3 more days until Eric and I drive out of Richmond for our new destination; North Carolina and community. And you know what? It's nice to need. It's a blessing to need. It's a pleasure to need. Because being in need is like a constant reminder to us of who we are and who God is. And God is good. Where will God lead us next? Saturday, August 1, 2009. Some thoughts...: June 2009
http://sarahhamm.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Books, Movies, Religion, and maybe some Politics. Thursday, June 25, 2009. Last night a friend and I watched Amelie for our weekly movie night, and it was the best night we've had so far. Not only did we make pasta, tasty bread, and chocolate mousse (pudding), but the movie was FANTASTIC. Easily one of the best films I've seen in a long time. Not only that, but it has a great love-story as well. No question, one of my favorite films of all time. A must-see. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. First view from camp.

By the leather girdle round his waist, I knew him for the Baptist. He cried, "Burn! Wednesday, May 20, 2009. If you grew up a fan of the original Star Wars. Films, you really need to see this movie. Some thoughts...: January 2010
http://sarahhamm.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Books, Movies, Religion, and maybe some Politics. Thursday, January 7, 2010. For our Wednesday this week, Eric and I went to see Avatar (in all its 3D glory). Let me tell you, everything "they" have been saying about the movie. Not only was it a wonderful story and an adventure through and through, but it was also colorful and lively and fun. It was like entering into a whole new world. I won't often say this about a movie, but Avatar was worth the $13.00 bucks. Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Pull Up a Chair.

Books, Movies, Religion, and maybe some Politics. Monday, February 15, 2010. Worst Movie of all Time Contestant #1: A Walk to Remember. This post begins my quest of finding, naming, and mocking the worst movie ever to be created. I was inspired to start this series after paying $7.50 to see the horrificly bad "Have you heard about the Morgans? I know, I should have known) and getting angry about it. Since my bad movie experience was just one of many, I figured something must be done. A Walk to Remember.

Some thoughts...: July 2009
http://sarahhamm.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Books, Movies, Religion, and maybe some Politics. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Yesterday morning I woke up to a particularly good surprise. I wandered into the kitchen for some coffee, and my laptop was open to a page confirming a 5 day cruise that Eric had booked for us the night before. I have to say, a cruise is a very nice thing to wake up to. We're heading to the Caribbean in October, exactly one week after I get back from my Israel trip. I end this post with a verse that is on my heart with joy:. Me an...
