trollkleid: März 2011
http://trollkleid.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Kreatives mit Nadel und Faden. Mittwoch, 16.

Blue Oyster Kilt: Prime Ministerial Mission - V1183
http://www.blueoysterkilt.com/2011/10/prime-ministerial-mission-v1183.html
Don't Fear the (Seam) Ripper. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Prime Ministerial Mission - V1183. It's not every day you get to meet the Prime Minister, so a new dress was required. I bought this Kay Unger pattern as soon as it was published, and just needed a good excuse to make it. Diving into my stash I found the most unlikely fabric - a faux suede furnishing fabric. I washed it a few times to beat it into submission, and finally it succumbed under my iron. 19 October, 2011. 24 October, 2011. 22 June, 2012.

Chocolate Chip Hip: REform/REfashion Friday - Old Tee to Yoked Skirt (WR1)
http://chocolatechiphip.blogspot.com/2010/07/reformrefashion-friday-old-tee-to-yoked.html
Friday, July 9, 2010. REform/REfashion Friday - Old Tee to Yoked Skirt (WR1). This week's refashion was super simple and quick. I took one of my hubby's old tees and transformed it into a A-line knit skirt with a yoked waist. I made it yesterday and wore it today. It is perfect for this hot sticky weather here in Atlanta. I originally wanted to make the MODKID yoga skirt featured on. July 10, 2010 at 2:42 PM. April 9, 2012 at 4:06 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Blue Oyster Kilt: January 2011
http://www.blueoysterkilt.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Don't Fear the (Seam) Ripper. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Ocean Waves Sundress - Butterick 5489. I had great fun at a fabric sale last year 'enhancing my stash'. This piece of lovely drapey rayon and lycra knit reminds me of how wonderful it is to live near the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. My challenge was what to do with it. I saw a short version of this dress by Domestic Haven on Pattern Review. And loved it. However, I wanted a maxi version but didn't have quite enough fabric. Made the ties from a sol...

Blue Oyster Kilt: Pyjama Party - Butterick 5219 and Simplicity 9505

Don't Fear the (Seam) Ripper. Sunday, October 2, 2011. Pyjama Party - Butterick 5219 and Simplicity 9505. Pyjamas make the most wonderful muslins. No matter how badly they fit, within reason(! You can be sure of getting at least some wear out of them. This particular pair was drafted from Butterick 5219. Not a huge fan of hand sewing, I made up the collar and serged it on, which worked really well. The fit wasn't bad, but as other bloggers noticed, the fit at the back neck is poor. Hi, I'm an expat Scot ...

Pattern Review: Kwik Sew 3089. December 30, 2010. Ah 2010, you went by so quickly. Is it just my age or having a child that makes time run past me without looking back? Man, it was just two weeks ago that it was 2009 and now it’s two more days until 2011. How did that happen? Anyhoo, here’s a recap of what I was able to accomplish the year that happened in the blink of an eye. SEWING – Garments. 2 kids knit pj’s. 1 boy flannel pj. 1 girl flannel nightgown. 35 Butterick 5147 sheath dresses (my 2nd TNT)*.

Blue Oyster Kilt: February 2011
http://www.blueoysterkilt.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Don't Fear the (Seam) Ripper. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Jalie 2563 and 2796 - Integrated Sportswear. Inspired by Shannon over at Mushywear. I decided to tackle my first Jalie Patterns. I had a 150km rail trail bike ride. With my husband coming up and the weather outlook was for a heatwave. As a native Scot, I don't cope well with excessive heat :0), so knew I'd need some super lightweight kit. I also wanted to minimise my nightly need to wash clothes on the trail, so adapted these two patterns. With fab...
