I was meditating on Luke 22:54-65 some moments ago; on the account of the courtyard trial of Jesus following his arrest at Gethsemane, but my attention this time wasn’t focused on the trial but on verse 56 when the servant girl indentified Simon Peter as he was warming himself beside the fireplace and exclaimed loudly: This man was one of Jesus’ followers! You see, I am currently in a season ...

After all these years as a believer, I’ve come to realized that the purest, truest and most enduring teachings I’ve received were learnt during the first year of my faith, in the quietness of my room, by myself. An except from a book I’m currently re reading, titled: ‘A confession and other religious writings by Leo Tolstoy.’. I hope it will give you some insights, (or perhaps) cause you to re examine your faith or provide some answers as to why some believers can give up their faith in a seemingly frivolous manner. It was during worship in church yesterday when I felt an urge to turn to Revelation. Flipping to the last chapter, I found the words of Christ staring back at me, bolded in red for good effect. Surely I am coming soon. He could return anytime. Now for a mintue, let us imagine that Jesus will be coming back next Monday. What if His day of return is made known to us? Perhaps w...
