Saturday, October 10, 2009. Soccer game 10 October 2009. This is warm up time. Still warming up on a very cold day. Right from the first whistle Kawika was on fire today. Here he comes in for a kick. He did one of his famous slide kicks and it worked. They could not hold him down today. He was the only one of his team anywhere near the ball. Head down to take the kick. Monday, August 17, 2009. Hiking in the Rocky Mountains. I should have taken a hint when the very beginning of the trail was this steep. Thank goodness Gavin pushed the pram after this photo was taken. This is me after the top of the steepest part of the climb. Gavin wasn't sure if he was going to have to call a helicopter to get us off the mountain, or an hurse. Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Family photos at Little Cottonwood Canyon. Kawika put this log in place just so he could have his photo taken, he felt it was cooler than the bigger log. I felt the old river bed made a wonderful backdrop for our photos. Gavin, Jonell, Kawika and Xavier. Grandma getting a hug. Grandma getting a kiss. Me and my little boys.
