Friday, March 6, 2009. Why is life so freakin' crazy! I just moved back to CA and in the last few days i've had so many different options and thoughts running through my head. I'm also applying for a few different full-time positions in Residence Life at local universities. Finished the applications this week, now I have to wait and see how the interviews go. I want to get involved in a new church, but not sure how plugged in i should get, since everything is up in the air and i don't know where I'll be ...

Wednesday, April 23, 2008. God is so stinkin' good! Thanks to a lot of you for praying for me and the recent decisions i've been making! Program ends in ONE WEEK and I've been trying to make some decisions about housing, job, ministry, etc, etc since i'm staying in TX and making it my new home for a while. The Lord continues to be faithful and provide some great opportunities for me. Thanks again to everyone who's been praying for me, your prayers are so appreciated! Monday, February 2, 2009. That's right, after spending 19 months in Texas, i'm moving back to California. not because i finally got tired of TX, in fact this place has grown on me and i've come to love Denton and the people in it, but it's time for me to go back home. wish i would explain myself more, but i'm still in the process of figuring it all out. it'll be an interesting transition. To my friends in TX. To my family and friends in CA:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, May 4, 2008. I moved here 9 months ago to start a Women's Discipleship Training Program. now it's done! It's so interesting how seasons come and go in life. this season has been challenging, stretching, encouraging, and refining. this picture was taken while i shared my "Stone of Remembrance" on our last night that represented what the Lord has taught me this year. Lord if I'm the clay then I've been left out in the sun. Cracked and dry, like mud from the sky, still clinging to the prodigal son.

Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Bartica Grant Wrap Up! The two librarians who run the BLRC, Angela Douglas and Naomi Harris-Benn, have been very pleased with the project. In late June, both Angela and Naomi attended a national workshop to discuss ways in which resource centers can offer more to their communities and to the classrooms they help support. The following are some highlights that have marked local progress with the computer lab since my departure in late April:. Tutoring by the librarians in ICT has b...

Monday, December 8, 2008. Man, i am so stinking blessed! And not in a haughty-look-at-me-i'm-so-cool, kind of blessed. just genuinely, sincerely, awesomely blessed by the Lord. every blessing is a complete gift, nothing of my own merit. i had one of those nights that i wish i realized i DO HAVE every night, without the in-your-face realization. couldn't wipe the smile off my face because i tangibly felt blessed! Tuesday, January 25, 2011. If I had to choose three sounds of the Jungle that I enjoy hearing the most, it would be these:. The coos of the spider monkey: clip temporarily unavailable. The song of the Screaming Piha: hear it here. The foreboding drone of the golden Howler Monkey: hear a similar version here. I'm currently traveling Region 9 on a video-documentary project and hope to post a blog sometime soon. Hope all is well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Picture, picture. Look, look!
