Keewi's Adventures: January 2016
http://keewiadventures.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
A chronicle of my adventures with food, wine, and fun in France (and onward)! Friday, January 29, 2016. Mexico City I : Foodie's Paradise / 멕시코 시티 I : 먹프로들의 천국. Currently #16th best restaurant. In the world, of course but the fantastic Mexican food scene wasn't just limited to the fancy restaurants: we loved everything from the tacos at the market to the churros at El Morro. Let me show you, ready? I forgot to mention that my husband posted his photos, Cloudphotographic.com. 순환을 계속. 아 또 먹고싶다. 이집 ...Midni...

About Us - Tacolicious Tacolicious
http://tacolicious.com/about
Like many native Californians, Mexican food is in us. Though we grew up traveling to Mexico regularly (and still do), it took a trip to Mexico City where the food is served in settings as sophisticated and urban as you’ll find anywhere in the world for us to realize that tacos don’t have to be relegated to street food or a corner mom-’n’-pop. See Califa. For a couple of our inspirations. To read about some of our purveyors. Mike (left) and Joe (right) at Tacolicious in the Mission District. A huge fan of...

All posts in Thoughts. Kop Khun Ka, Thailand! On July 11, 2016. Thailand has been on my bucket list as long as I’ve had one. Since high school, I’ve been trying to coerce various friends to make the journey east with me, so the second Harley and Gerard said yeah! I was on Kayak.com scoping out tickets. We made out like bandits, since the dates we picked were right at the beginning of low season. (Low season = torrential downpours, possible monsoons, etc. etc.) You’re only young once! And the taste buds!

Ciudad de México (CDMX) parte 1: Comer y Beber – Picnic

Ciudad de México (CDMX) parte 1: Comer y Beber. Octubre 25, 2016. Octubre 26, 2016.

Food adventures in California and Mexico. Food & Drink. Lunch with Victoria Gonzalez Chavez, Maestra Cocinera from the Tierra Caliente. 7 / 31 / 16. At the restaurant there’s an open kitchen where women in embroidered orange and pink blouses make the tortillas. The masa is made there, an increasingly rare in thing in Mexico, but as I learned eating my way through the area for ten days, apparently not for Michoacán. My mom used to tell me that the day when it seems all doors have closed on you, with just ...

¿Qué Onda?: September 2009

September 24, 2009. When It Rains, It Pours. And I mean that literally and figuratively. As I mentioned a few posts back, I arranged a meeting with my Fulbright advisor to discuss my concerns about my ETA placement—few hours, no office, no English department, etc. Well, let me say that expressing my worries was a REALLY STUPID IDEA. Who ever said that open communication is a good thing? I was happy, but that really put me in a predicament. Should I move to a different city and another school where th...

Livros, Viagens, Gastronomia e Outros Prazeres: Cidade do México
http://la-piel-desnuda.blogspot.com/2011/10/cidade-do-mexico.html
Recomendo o Hotel Condesa DF.
