My digital photo pictures. Sunday, September 7, 2008. The macro function is when you take a picture of an object and its on focus up close and the background is blurred out. I like these pictures because the macro function helps you see up close with detail. It is good to use the macro function when you want to see small objects on a differnt point of view. I think that my best picture was the one with the flowers because the background and stems blur out on front and back of the focus point.

My digital photo pictures. Thursday, September 11, 2008. For me to get this angle I made sure he was higher than me. In this photo he was standing on top of a wall. What I like about this picture is that there is light, gray and dark shades of color. Something that I would of done differnt is get closer and take the picture a few feet away from the wall. Extreme angles effect your photos because you see them on differnt angles. I would choose it to show people a differnt point of view.

Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Balance: Asymmetrical vs Symmetrical. Assymetrical is when everything in the picture is balanced but they're not exactly the same on both sides. Symmetrical is when everything in the picture are the same. I think that visual balance is important in art so that everything that is in the picture matches with the background and with everything else that is in the picture.
