Gary and Debi Whiting: May 2012
http://garydebiwhiting.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Gary and Debi Whiting. Family Motto: "We will not bend with adversity". Friday, May 18, 2012. We purchased five "baby" Aleppo Pine trees and Gary planted them today. They are about five feet tall, but the trunk is only about as thick as a man's thumb. We plan to water them "like crazy" and hope they will grow quickly. These are the Flowering Plum trees we planted in July 2009. They are doing well. The Aleppo Pine trees are about ten feet to the west of the Flowering Plum trees. Gary and Debi Whiting.

Called to Serve
A chronicle of Andrew's 2-year service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Monday, January 28, 2013. From 4:00 to 5:00 am today I couldn't sleep, but I didn't want to get up and check email, because I didn't want to read it and then know that I wouldn't get another email from Elder (Andrew) Broekhuijsen. So, I waited until 5:00, and then gave in. No email. When I finally got back to sleep, I slept right through my alarm and didn't get up until 6:45. Oops! To answer mom's question...

Tuesday, January 21, 2014. IT WAS ALL AWESOME! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER! Andrew will report in the Lone Hollow Ward on December 29th at 9:00 am. We had an uneventful trip to Toluca where we met the Barrera and Dascon (the couple getting sealed) families and had a real Mexican taco dinner. An...
Elder James in Indonesia
Elder James in Indonesia. Monday, August 4, 2014. Hello for the last time in Indonesia! Isn't it hard to believe that two years have already flown by so fast? For our P-day activity last week, we were invited to a member's home, since it was a National holiday. They made us some traditional food, and we had a great time visiting with them. Where it usually takes 3-4 hours to get there on a good day, it took 7! The road is not in a good condition, and many people were travelling. It was insane! The next f...
