Thursday, May 31, 2012. Each Saturday at 2pm the YSA's from Dar es Salaam District attend Institute. There is always an Activity to follow planned by one of the four Branch's YSA Representatives. This Saturday the Ubungo Branch planned a very successful Sports Day filled with lots of fun and great sportsmanship. Basketball and Football (soccer) were the two favorites. Parts of Kenya and Tanzania in Nairobi for Thanksgiving at the Mission Home on Thursday and a Senior Couples Conference on Friday at the Upper Hill Mission. Bruce getting the T. Urkey's ready to R. Everyone contributed to the incredible traditional American feast. President and Sister Broadbent miraculously found two whole Turkeys at the store. After dinner we played a fun.

Church with Elder and Sister Worthen. The security gate for the complex Mom and Dad live in. Mom and Dad's home sweet home. Can't really tell here, but an example of the stressful driving Mom and Dad encounter daily. Our four start hotel in Korogwe. Grabbing a bite before the long drive home from Korogwe. One of the many towns we drove by.

Come What May, And Love It. Thursday, August 16, 2012. On April 27th of this year, I was visiting a nursery with good variety, yet good prices and on a whim decided to buy 3-4 varieties of pumpkin seeds. There was a strip of vacant earth next to our fence line and I thought, why not grow some pumpkins in that strip and see what happens? It has been a fun experiment! The children helped dig the mounds and plant the seeds and water the seedlings. It has been a fun family memory this summer! VERY WELL, ANNA!
