Friday, January 29, 2010. LAVA MONSTER.or.why I love kids! I have the funnest and funniest kids EVER . Last night the girls were playing 'lava monster' and made trails all through the house of safe islands to effectively avoid the carpet-living lava monster while they played 'escaping from the lava monster' with a Mom and Dad rescuing their babies from a fiery death. I LOVED to watch this because 'lava monster' was one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE games when I was a kid. The four silliest girls in the world.

Ok, the new Elementary Orchestra teacher has changed the concerts from a 2 hour ordeal to less than an hour! It was just grand! The band, choir and orchestra all performed, but it was in nice, organized chunks instead of spread around the evening, so we just showed up when our kid was involved and left when she wasn't.
