South Africa Cape Town Mission Web site click below. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Wow, my mission is over! The next day we just hung out in Cape Town and waited for our evening flight home. It was relaxing. I went to Green Market Square to get some final souvenirs, and soon enough it was time to load up and head to the airport. It felt weird. In the airport we gave a power “Hurrah For Israel” as went through security and waved goodbye to President and the AP’s. I was shocked at how full the plane was!

South Africa Cape Town Mission Web site click below. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Well I've been thinking about Christmas as a missionary on the other side of the world and in some ways it was different than what I was used to, and in some ways it was pretty much the same. South Africa is in the southern hemisphere so Christmas comes during the middle of the summer, which is pretty much like Christmas in San Diego! And in Xhosa its "Krisimesi emnandi! You always dream about what might happen to you, that's just apart of being human. Everyone dreams about everything. Today my cousin asked me how would I like to die, and the question has plagued me. Would I like to die in the line of duty? Would I like to die in a hospital bed with my loved ones surrounding me? Would I like to die of old age, sleeping? My Bucket List ( so far):. 1 Go back to Hawai'i. 4 The biggest roller coaster in the world! 5 Change someone's life for the better. 10 Live my life.

JOY IN THE JOURNEY. Sunday, January 29, 2012. You Are Hereby Called to Serve. Derek received his mission call letter this week! It came to our house on Thursday and I hurried it to the post office to Express Mail it to him. And it arrived on time! We were anxiously waiting at home. Caitlin and Billy arrived! Ah, here it is.

Tuesday, May 19, 2015. May 18, 2015. Dear friends and family,. Boy, this is it. The fruit of my labors have brought me more happiness than I thought could be possible. Yesterday as I was reading in the Book of Mormon, I was in Alma chapter 15 and I read in verse 15, "the people that were in the land of Ammonihah, they yet remained a hard-hearted and a stiffnecked people; and they repented not of their sins." I thought to myself, "Why? The answer I came up with is this. The baptism for Ronald this past Sa...

Thursday, March 25, 2010. 2 Timothy 4: 7, 9. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:. Next, a story. Once upon a time, there was a comcast man, who was working at the house near where Elder Clawson and I were tethering up our bikes. I tipped my metaphorical hat to this man and said, "Hey, who's getting comcast? To which this man replied with a big grin on his face, "EVERYONE'S GETTING COMCAST! Well family, I hope the week goe...
