The kids, Livvy, Addi, Oakley, Logan and Carter had to wait a few hours for their race to start. Jeremy Redd waited with them. When it was their turn to run the course, they also got covered from head to foot with that nice, icky, gooey mud. They loved it. Marilyn and Kristi had to go a long with them on their run through the mud because they had to have parents with them.

We went to Bluff Fort and learned about the pioneers who settled Bluff (a lot of them are our ancestors). The kids dressed up and had a photo shoot! And then we went to the cemetery and cleaned up a couple of the grave sites. It was a fun day as we honored our ancestors and those who have gone before us and prepared the way for us to have the blessings that we now have.

We had waited and watched and were anticipating the arrival of the baby (or babies). Finally, our waiting paid off. We found that not one, but two babies had arrived and they are the cutest things ever. They were wet and the weather was cold and snowing and so, of course, they needed to be taken inside and the blow dryer was used to dry them off.

Last week as a missionary. Well this is it. last week as a missionary. I will still email on Tuesday, June 2nd, but only very quickly, That is the day I go up to Perth. Can't wait to see you again! Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Josh with his Companion and the Assistants Elder Rawlings and Elder Heal. Josh was able to give an investigator a blessing of comfort and direction while he is going through a hard divorce and said how grateful he is for the priesthood and the opporunity he has to give blessings. He has been treaching a few people and some of them have been progressing well. It finally snowed in Ohio! Josh was pretty happy about that. There has been a lot of ice, but no snow until last week.
