This was written after the missionary's were on a "Lock Down" because of activities happening in Belfast the weekend of July 12th. Because the 12th is on a Sunday, the big parade was moved to Monday. But before I get to that, I'll tell ya more about the week, which I'm sure is what you really want to know right now! So I was pretty sick Monday and Tuesday. Janis hasn't eaten Pomegranate seeds before. Becky buys her clothes at Costco and Fred Meyer (Me too). Becky has received calls at work to put people's pets on the Temple Prayer Roll. We all love doing Jigsaw Puzzles. Janis has some cool game apps. Mike Wismer's brother passed away. Dad will give tours of his home to complete strangers.

My Corner of the World. April 9, 2015. I recently taught the kids the difference between Temple Marriage and Celestial Marriage. We want the youth to switch their focus (and goal) from "being married in the Temple" to "Having a Celestial Marriage.". Our goal as married couples is to have a Celestial Marriage. You can only have a Celestial Marriage by being Sealed by proper Priesthood Authority in a Holy Temple. But the sealing does not make a Celestial Marriage. Elder J.Richard Clarke said it best:.

My Corner of the World. January 23, 2015. I have had the great joy of teaching Doctrine and Covenants Section 76 all week in Seminary. There is so much true and wonderful doctrine in there. I have spent more time studying than my other weeks because I got kind of lost in it, learning more and then wanting to learn more about what I was learning more about! The bottom line is this:. The Kingdom we will spend eternity in has everything to do with Jesus Christ. I recommend everyone be a Seminary Teacher!

Three of her beautiful daughters were there and 4 of her grandkids, plus I guess you could say there were 2 more there on their way! It was lots of fun!
