http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, March 30, 2015. Still al suave. We did a fair bit of running around, but not so much finding people this week, and no nonmembers coming to Church. :(. Plus at least one older couple that we visit is now effectively activated. If only their kids would come to Church and go on missions! Bien, disfruten la semana, y echen fuego! Edifiquen Sión dondequiera que estén, y estarán listos para la Sión Celestial, la presencia de Dios. (Well , enjoy the week , and let fire!

Elder Newman in El Salvador: June 2015
http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, June 29, 2015. And so a week happened. All is well. We invite pretty much everyone to baptism. Not all of them are really serious about it, but they usually say yes. There are about 6 people who are super positive, la Familia R, V, C U, and C, who could be baptized in a relatively short order. We continue looking. I have more than 1 year in El Salvador now, since Wednesday. Changes are next week. And the 171st anniversary of the martyrdom of Joseph Smith was Saturday.

Elder Newman in El Salvador: October 2014
http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, October 27, 2014. We had one small earthquake. shrug. So emergency changes equals being in trio for a week. Elder Velasquez is from Guatemala and came from Chelatenango because things are crazy in El Salvador. I took a picture of us in trio but it didn't save or something so that's that. Might get packages at changes. Vamos a ver. Things are pretty cool though don't get me wrong. Monday, October 20, 2014. That was spiffy. Work's been a bit hard. We've dropped a l...

Elder Newman in El Salvador: (No Subject)
http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2015/07/no-subject.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, July 20, 2015. This week had some downs but some ups too. The familia Vásquez is super fuerte, and Hermano S decided that he really. Want to get baptized, so his baptismal date for August went from trivial to substantial! La familia V is going to start doing FHEs and the Hermana wants to read the Book of Mormon an hour a day. Fantastic! But yeah. That's my life! Tell me if you find out anything cool (Scriptures, books, art, whatever)! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, May 25, 2015. We are moving forward at a constant rate of 1 second per second. Spiritual lessons for the week:. Just remember that you still have to choose good things :. 3- A quote from Elder Scott- Everyone has their own problems and nobody wants to hear about yours. So set it all aside and smile :. Also 2 Nephi 25:23-26 is very good. I gave my first English class on Friday! Good fun. A street contact showed up, even though he didn't want lessons when we contac...

Elder Newman in El Salvador: vaya pues (go for it)
http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2015/08/vaya-pues-go-for-it.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, August 10, 2015. Vaya pues (go for it). The curfew was just because the gangs had declared a stop on public transport and some buses got burned. We weren't really ever at risk, but it was just a precaution. So last week was the slowest week I've had in the mission :. Oh, and Elder W went home Tuesday after choir practice, so it's just Elder P and I in a duo. It's weird going from a trio to a duo (more than going from a duo to a trio). How to Be in Contact:. Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, July 27, 2015. Kiwi is the father of all fruit" - I don't remember why someone was talking to us about fruit. So I actually could have been loading photos most Mondays but I was so used to computers not having an SD port that I didn't check in the ciber that we currently use. : So here's a brief summation of these pictures:. A picture of Elder W and Elder P doing nothing,. Pollito (Little Chicken),. Elder V burning trash in the backyard, and. It's super great because...

Elder Newman in El Salvador: November 2014
http://eldernewmaninelsalvador.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Elder Newman in El Salvador. Monday, November 24, 2014. I want a Pumpkin Pie but I am denied it. This past week hasn't been to particularly eventful, as I am given to say. Lots of appointments fell through but a lot also turned out well, no investigators came to Church but like 40 less actives came so that's pretty great, given that our chapel is right there. Our new building is awesome and entirely better than taking a 30 minute bus ride. Monday, November 17, 2014. The Open House went pretty fantastic ...
