Yesterday I was heading out to the Bonnie Hunt show with Mom and Nana and I pulled a little money out of my wallet to pay the babysitter for a couple of hours (Christian watched the kids the rest of the time). Nicolas (my seven year old) asked why I got money out. I explained that it was for the babysitter. He said "Oh Mama, I have money. I'll pay for the babysitter! He get's that from you ya know! Aw that's so cute!

Adventures of the Hansen Family. Thursday, November 20, 2008. Christian and I attended a really fun Twilight Party last night. It was at my friend Leah's house. She did so many fun things! This is so nice to enjoy this together! I'll post the recipe below. Then an art teacher showed up and my kids got to stay for a fun art class. They painted and made bookmarks and used salt and saran wrap to create different textures. What a fun day! 1 package active dry yeast or 2 ¼ tsp. 1 cup warm water. 2 T olive oil.

It is starting to get cold here but nothing like at home. A jacket is not even necessary all the time. It is so wonderful that it rained in Oregon. One of the first memorable occasions was a visit by Elder Cook of the Twelve, the Presiding Bishop and their wives, this is a group of us being photographed after a good lunch and some words of inspiration.
