We had a big end of the school year water party. The kids didn't know it was happening until they opened the gate to the backyard and the parents were there to greet them with water balloons and squirt guns. We are big fans of summer. Of all the times we’ve been there, I can think of about 10 times when it wasn’t raining, snowing, blowing, freezing, etc. Let’s go ahead and chalk up 2015 into the raining, freezing category. Because of his deformities, he had a difficult time eating, even with the specialized bottles. His heart had to work so hard during feedings, and because Bogey needed more than anything to gain weight, we had a G-tube surgically placed. I’m pretty sure, my kids are growing up with the best neighborhood kids. It’s a bonus for me, that I get to associate with their parents and call them friends.
