Friday, 13 January 2017. Shooting My Own Theory Related Film - Whats First? For my short film i'm going to look at Mulvey's theory of the male gaze and visual pleasure. I find this theory the most intriguing and I think there's a lot more that can be done with it, experimental wise. I think that the feminist perspective for this theory is also a great idea to run with I can. Use models and different environments in order to capture the essence of a 'male audience'. I will be shooting on the Canon 700D.

The narrator on the other hand is the ego; he obeys by the law and he lives a mundane lifestyle that is shown at the beginning of the film. The narrator lacks emotion and compassion and lives a materialistic life, as is seen in this clip by the use of multiple Starbucks cups in every shot, he lives in a constant routine that has his mind lacking excitement and imagination.
