Republican Senate: February 2005
http://republicansenate.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 09, 2005. After defeating an inept candidate in Rod Grams back in 2000, Mark Dayton has become the last to know that his political career is dead. Today he announced. Speaking of politicians who aren't all there, rumors are flying about the possibility of former Gov. Ventura entering the race. Minnesotans probably wouldn't make the same mistake twice, so the question becomes from which party will Ventura take the most votes? Posted by Sean @ 8:32 PM. Tuesday, February 08, 2005.

Friday, June 24, 2005. Next week, the rubber meets the road. There will be at least one Supreme Court vacancy and probably at least one replacement named. As with the President's appointment of Ashcroft, who, incidentally, I would. To see nominated to the Supreme Court, I will return and go to bat for the President's nominee. If and only if. He is a solid,. Conservative with a record. I will not take the administration's word for it. I will not take. Posted by Sean @ 12:02 AM. View my complete profile.

Republican Senate: Circling the Ring
http://republicansenate.blogspot.com/2005/11/circling-ring.html
Thursday, November 17, 2005. Like two heavyweights sizing each other up after the bell, both sides released their first ads. In the fight over the Alito Confirmation. As the Post article said, none of the ads are intended to deal a knockout blow. Instead, they are intended to assess weaknesses, opportunities, and the responsiveness of the targeted Senators. It currently appears that the left will focus on a variety of civil rights issues, such as Alito's ruling. Posted by Sean @ 10:58 PM. Bob Casey, Jr.

Republican Senate: New Frontrunner in Michigan
http://republicansenate.blogspot.com/2005/11/new-frontrunner-in-michigan.html
Tuesday, November 22, 2005. New Frontrunner in Michigan. For the GOP, that is. According to a Strategic Vision poll released today. Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard is within 14 points of Sen. Debbie Stabenow. His primary opponents, Keith Butler and Jerry Zandstra, who have been campaigning for the better party of a year, trail Stabenow by 19 and 25 points respectively. Perhaps most encouraging, though, is the fact that Bouchard holds Stabenow to 45 points. Posted by Sean @ 11:40 PM. Bob Casey, Jr.

Saturday, November 19, 2005. Frist and Co.: Forget the Founders. Enter Sen. Trainwreck. Monday, May 23, 2005. Make no mistake: This was capitulation, not compromise. Republicans deserve to lose every election from now to kingdom come. Posted by Sean @ 10:50 PM. Friday, May 20, 2005. Sen Lindsey Graham is now at the center of negotiations. The stakes of this battle could not be higher with a Supreme Court nomination likely just weeks away. Any nominee that is acceptable to conservatives must be able to get through the Senate with 51 votes. Democrats will hold nominees to the. In addition to ...

Republican Senate: Quinn Makes His Mark
http://republicansenate.blogspot.com/2005/11/quinn-makes-his-mark.html
Sunday, November 27, 2005. Quinn Makes His Mark. Quarterbacking at Notre Dame is not about records. (Brady Quinn set 17 school records this year.) It is not about yardage or touchdown passes. (Quinn's new records include several in both categories.) Quarterbacking at Notre Dame is about winning, and tonight Brady Quinn made his biggest mark yet in the annals of Notre Dame football.
