Thursday, May 14, 2009. On our little dirt road we have a horse farm (and a cattle farm, goat farm, and donkey farm). In the last month, the horses have had 6 babies. Every day when we drive past, we say good morning. I love it when all of the moms are standing around the hay bale eating while the babies are asleep at their feet. Sunday, November 22, 2009. Yes, we finally got a pet pig. His name is Abraham. He's pretty cute. Scott has wanted one forever so know he's got one. Made an excellent pasta dish tonight:. 1 lb whole wheat spaghetti. 1/2 cup chopped roasted red peppers (I used jarred ones). 1 heaping t minced olives. 1/2 c heavy cream. Cook the pasta per the directions. While its cooking mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir thoroughly. Drain pasta and toss with sauce. Makes 4-6 servings. View my complete profile.
