http://thriftshopaholic.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The wicked witch is dead. I am not usually a fashion blogger.but what the heck why not? Cardigan: Merona- thrifted at Value Villiage $4. Strapless Dress: Merona thrifted at Goodwill $4.99 (brand new with tags). Bangles: assorted from Yokefellow and Walmart $8. Tights: George brand @ Walmart $5? Booties: Cato $19.99. In the next year I hope to do more "fashion" blogs- mainly to show how thrift store items do not have to look like thrift store items. Stay tuned! I never thought I would. I am no tennis shoe...

Confessions Of A Thriftshopaholic: May 2012
http://thriftshopaholic.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
I think I have driven myself mad with wedding details lately. The other day, I took on the task of practicing my wedding hair and makeup. I wanted a vintage/pin up look for the pictures. I like it for the most part. Then I started playing with my clip in extensions. Chris hates them lol. I also started my brooch bouquet, its not complete and what I did finish took me a few hours to assemble. I gotta hide the pink flowers, reshape it and reinforce some of the brooches. Confessions Of A Thriftshopaholic: Mid Century Modern
http://thriftshopaholic.blogspot.com/2012/07/mid-century-modern.html
I am on a Mid Century Modern kick lately. Chris' dad gave us a green chair a few months back. Then the next piece I bought was a dresser that we are using as a media cabinet for our tv. Ignore all the crap in the foreground ;). When I got the dresser, the night stand was thrown in for $5 more.heck why not? My third piece I have bought is a beautiful ottoman. It opens up and has storage inside! For only $7 it was a score! D Until next time ( and hopefully not two months) XOXO! North Carolina, United States.

Have you ever been to a thirft store and found a wooden piece but it is worn out, the bones are good but the finish is not? Don't over look it because the finish is scratched.use some Old English and about 5 minutes you can go from old and busted to new hotness. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). North Carolina, United States. Confessions Of A Thriftshopaholic: Swag...I have it.
http://thriftshopaholic.blogspot.com/2013/02/swagi-have-it.html
I commented and the seller agreed to meet with me the following day. I paid for my purchase and took my baby home even though I had no clue where it was going to live. Now I have a light fixture that is in the same era of our home! Love it. To top it off its in the shape of a tulip! If I would have bought this piece today it would have been so expensive because of all the metal and thick glass. I love items from the past because they were made to last and not made to be replaced. View my complete profile.

Project ReDesign: September 2011
http://healthyredesigning.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. This is a Polka Dot No-No! I'm putting this on Silverstyle's Trending Through the Decades. And Not Dead Yet Style Visible Monday. To protect other bloggers from potential polka dot disasters similar to this one. This kind of style (lack of style) and the image of me chowing down in polka dots at Alioto's in San Francisco are what inspired me to seek the expert help of the wonderful blogging community. The food and memories were wonderful. The outfit.not so much. Up in the hills.
