Fig and strawberry thumbprint cookies. Ive been wanting to make thumbprint cookies ever since I first tried one. Unsurprisingly, theyre fun and easy to make! Heres the recipe I used. Recipe from Food Network. 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 3/4 cup unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks), softened. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. Bake cookies until the edges are golden, about 15-20 minutes. Cool, then serve. Store in a tightly sealed container for up to 5 days. Daily photo, october 31st.

Wednesday, May 08, 2013. I couldn't help but sing quietly, "Buff-a-lo roooooaaaam . . ." Those giant frizzy beasts had no way of knowing it, but they were reminding me that I was on the right road. Headed toward something good and exciting. I might come away a little tired and sunburned, but I'd have some great memories to look back on. To this day, when I see buffalo in person or in one of these big photos or paintings, I can't help but sing in my head, "Buff-a-lo rooooaaam! From Me To You.
