Sunday, August 2, 2015. Saturday is Temple Day. It was a wonderful day at the temple. It was my first time doing initiatories, and I was quite nervous, but it went very well. It helps that not everything has to be memorized. Everyone at the temple is so kind and thoughtful - it's like a mantra. There were 21 weddings during the day; can you imagine? Fine and Dandy Mandy. Thursday, August 19, 2010. Driving and lots of it. Spencer was in charge of taking pictures while we drove. We stopped in at Martin's Cove for about half an hour. We went into the visitors center, heard the history from the senior missionaries there, and then ate lunch at Independence rock. After 10 hours of driving we finally made it to South Dakota! Wednesday, August 5, 2015. I woke up quite early and just stayed up. There were dishes to clean up and books to read and finances to figure out. Fae brought her kids over for Sydney's lesson just before noon. We had a good lesson. She's just on the verge of playing real songs. But we'll have to suspend lessons for the next couple of weeks because of the F. H. Workshop next and Education Week the following week. And then school starts! Could summer really be almost over? Thursday, April 30, 2015. Travel - Two Days for the Price of One! That first flight was about 4 hours and we were the outside two people on a three-people row by the window. They served us breakfast and later some snacks. That flight from Nerita to Seattle was about 9 hours long, and after we ate dinner we watched movies and tried to sleep. Fine and Dandy Mandy. Sunday, January 30, 2011. For my 22nd birthday I was given a one night stay at the Cottontree Inn in Sandy. A couple weeks ago Carissa, Becca, and I cashed in on this great gift! I didn't have a ride up to Sandy, so I took use Utah's public transportation system all by myself for the first time! Tuesday, April 1, 2014. The General Relief Society Meeting was great. I loved being there with my daughters. I loved the words spoken and music shared. It was great. I am thankful I have made covenants with my Heavenly Father. I am thankful for the blessing I receive because of the covenants I've made. I'm thankful that I can teach my daughters and sons about covenants and their duty as children of God to make and keep covenants. Ha ha Just kidding. I love your testimony. I wish mine was as strong.
