The Great Microsnowpocalypse of Whatcom County, 2014! Bull; February 23, 2014 • Cats. Bull; 1 Comment. When the “Special Weather Statement” prophesying snow, doom, and sledding chaos first appeared a few days ago, I raised my eyebrow once and then thought little of it. HOW MANY TIMES have such storms been predicted and tracked, publicized and prepared for, only to evaporate at the last moment like a drop of dew in a bitterly dry Nor’easter? October by the Fire. Bull; October 29, 2011 • Books. Bull; 0 Comments. I remember reading Gaiman’s Fragile Things on an Alaskan Airlines flight between DCA and SEA in late 2007 or early 2008. I was delighted when I saw one of Neil’s titles in the airport bookstore, and by the time I disembarked in Bellingham, I was thoroughly intoxicated. It is too dark for Cathy’s taste,. Read more →. Facebook: An Investment in Social Parasitism. Bull; August 17, 2013 • Investment. Bull; 0 Comments. I totally stole this from TechCrunch. Facebook’s hilariously botched IPO. From an investment standpoint, I have been cynical about Facebook as a publicly traded company since the first day I heard of its IPO plan. The post-IPO drama supported my cynicism, but after the company’s Q2 earnings report there has been a significant turnaround in investor sentiment. In Facebook’s defense, they. 8212; will lack an...

Also red leaf, romaine, and collard greens, plus rainbow chard. And broccoli, and carrots! And tomatoes, and some chives! Http:/ blog.voidblossom.com. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Thursday, May 26, 2011. So, you're gonna suffer, but you'll be happy about it.". So, this August, Layla will be starting preschool through the Head Start program. I enrolled her today. Her starting school will mean that I'll have to get up EVERY DAY around 5:30am. But, of course, I am willing to do this, because Layla needs to go to school, and I can come back home and sleep my ass off. But the other part of you wants to break down and sob and wonder why God hates you so much as to let your child grow up.

Beware the Worts of March. Bull; March 9, 2014 • Family and Friends. Bull; 1 Comment. Pepe at the top of his game. Last weekend, my friend (and neighbor) Patrick came over on Sunday afternoon and we brewed our tenth and eleventh batches of beer, respectively. Well, for the sake of accuracy let me admit that mostly what we did was drink beer while giving Pepe. I may never brew beer without a 5-year-old apprentice again. Father and Son Bonding over the Brew Kettle. The beer we’d rather forget. A double red...

Bull; June 16, 2013 • 0 Comments. Ah, summer in the Northwest… the weather channel insists we have 100% sunny skies, but the reality is somewhat different. It’s a good thing Cathy is prepared for this sort of thing: Do note the huge, gigantic, almost inedibly-delicious looking flat of Box farm strawberries there. Stuff like that makes all the rain worthwhile. Read more →. Bull; June 12, 2013 • 0 Comments. Read more →. Molehills and Mountains, the Rant! Bull; May 21, 2013 • 0 Comments. Read more →. That&#...
