What is Music Therapy? The unique feature of music is that it can touch us where often even words cannot reach us. That is why it is so interesting to make use of music to connect with each other. Music Therapy, for who? Music therapy can be useful on different levels to a wide range of people. Below, we give some examples for whom the therapy can prove to be a sufficient and efficient support:. Persons with a mental and/or physical disability. Children and adolescents with behavioral problems.

Already in our mother's belly, for example, we get to listen to the melodies of her voice and the rhythm of her breathing. And it is the same in our very first contacts with all others. There as well, music is present: Think about the imitations of sounds when a baby and his mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, . babble to each other. In short, there is music for everyone, young and old!

Al vanaf het prilste begin van ons leven komen we met muziek in aanraking. zelfs voor onze geboorte! In de buik van onze moeder voelen we al de melodie van haar stem en het ritme van haar ademhaling. Ook bij het allereerste contact met anderen is er muziek aanwezig: denk maar aan de imitaties van klanken die de baby tegen zijn moeder, vader, grootmoeder, grootvader. brabbelt. Kortom, muziek is er voor iedereen, jong en oud!
