Last night we went to David's boss's house in the suburbs for the most divine dinner of our lives. His wife cooked the entire thing - except for the coulis, which he made - for 9 adults and everything was PERFECT. Above, Courgettes et Menthe Flan / Zucchini and Mint Flan with tomato coulis - slightly chilled, served with fresh baguette and delicious Bourgogne wine. Dominic cutting the Flan:.

10 weeks in le Marais with the kids and David = lucky me! Monday, July 16, 2012. Walking around the neighborhood on a beautifully sunny day - post office, grocery store, pharmacy, park. Cool canal: boat that cleans the canal passes through lock after lock - very cool to watch with the kids, even the street opens. The best crepe so far in Paris, Breton style with Nutella. It s all for moments like this. Var ett tag sen nu, har inte orkat uppdatera men idag är jag hemma från skolan. Har världens värsta förkylning! Hatar att var sjuk! Två av mina kompisar ska på maryville high school s prom ikväll och jag önskar att jag kunde vara med och göra dem i ordning men jag som är sjuk borde nog stanna hemma i stället. Vi får vel se om jag mår lite bättre senare. Stephanie och Michael kommer hem från Washington om två veckor så det ska bli kul och se dem igen! Michael, my hostdad :).
