Saturday, January 28, 2012. Last year I saw a great photograph in the Pacific and Prairie Horse Journal equine photo contest of a young girls snuggling a foal. When I looked closer, I recognized the girl as one of my fellow BC Competitive Trail Riders' - Katie. Monday, August 19, 2013. Peoples choice and best student art award. Well, four days of votes by the visitors to the Art Show and Sale and we have winners for the People's choice award (favourite in the show) and the Best Student Artwork award. Remarkably, when John tallied up the ballots there was a tremendous number of paintings nominated. There were 33 paintings selected as favourite in the show and 10 for the student work! Monday, November 25, 2013. A busy tour - thanks to all of our customers! This year was a very busy one at the Broody Rooster for the 25th Annual Cedar Yellowpoint Christmas Tour. Thank you to all of the customers who visited us and supported local artisans with your purchases. I have enjoyed being part of the CYAA and find that as a cluster, we collectively attract significant traffic to our studios, workshops and galleries each year. It is a cooperative spirit that is hard to find. Original 18 x 24.
