My Life as Fiction: October 2010
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 6, 2010. So Much for Summer. We're looking forward to my family visiting in a couple weeks. It's been quite awhile since I've seen my parents and grandparents, so it should be a lot of fun. Also working on a trip to Oregon in December. So the next few months should be pretty busy. Hopefully I can find time to write in between all of that, and hopefully more than just an update every now and then. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). So Much for Summer. My Life as Fiction: Birthdays
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2011/03/birthdays.html
Thursday, March 31, 2011. If I tell people older than me that I'm turning 30, they make joking comments about how that's still young. If I talk about being 30 with people younger than me, they jokingly comment about how old I'm getting. It's confusing being stuck in the middle. Its confusing being stuck in the middle. I feel that too. Im not going to be 30 this year, just 29. But still, the middle feeling of still being looked at as young, but feeling like Im getting old. March 31, 2011 at 1:40 PM.

My Life as Fiction: December 2009
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 19, 2009. Friday, it started to snow. I left for work because I had a lot to do, and I didn't really think I would have much trouble getting home. I could always leave early if I got my stuff done. Got there just fine and then the reports started coming in. Now it's Saturday. We have probably a good 12 inches or so of snow on the ground. It's very pretty. But I hope you understand if I choose not to go out in it today. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment, as well ...Essentially, ...

Saturday, October 24, 2009. Our New Couch, and The Onset of Fall. There it is. Our new couch, all comfy and inviting. Teresa likes to the lamp side of the couch most I think. At least that's where she always sits. We've been using if for the last week and a half and I think it's working out pretty well. And yes, Mom, we are gradually getting our Homer Simpson butt prints settled in. Chair in there and it makes a passable reading and music room! Today, I went to a golf tournament with my company. We d...

My Life as Fiction: Fantasy Football is Not a Game Played in Middle Earth
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2010/11/fantasy-football-is-not-game-played-in.html
Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Fantasy Football is Not a Game Played in Middle Earth. Web site for the league looked like it would make it all pretty simple for a newbie such as myself. If you don't get it, don't worry about it. It's hard to really understand unless you get involved with it, but the basic idea is that your score is based on the real life statistics of the people you have in your team. If you play people that score touchdowns and run a lot of yards, you'll be doing well. A roster of people...

My Life as Fiction: Published on the Internet Still Counts, Doesn't it?
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2010/03/published-on-internet-still-counts.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. Published on the Internet Still Counts, Doesn't it? It's not a huge deal, really. It's a paragraph on a Warcraft related website. But it's mine! Oh, here's the link. The way they took the submission was pretty interesting too. WoW.com is part of the AOL network which has a program called seed. In other news, I should be getting the Xbox and FF13 on Easter weekend. Yay! Easter weekend will be in South Carolina with Teresa's family. Yay again! I enjoy your blogs! Grew up in lots o...

My Life as Fiction: November 2009
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. Teresa and I stayed put in Swannanoa. This year while her parents and her dad's family came to visit. It's the first Thanksgiving since we have been married that we've gotten to spend with her family. We only left Boston for one Thanksgiving while we lived there, and that was to go to Oregon to spend it with my family. So it was a nice change of pace. Who brought turkey and ham. It was delicious. We went out and got a Christmas tree at Ingles. Links to this post. Teresa and I d...

My Life as Fiction: January 2010
http://life-as-fiction.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 15, 2010. Of Avatar and Movie Theaters. If you haven't seen the movie Avatar, I might mention things that could be considered spoilers. I'm not going to give away the plot or the ending or anything, but I do talk about stuff from the film. Don't say I didn't warn you. And when we got there, we saw there was a Coldstone ice cream place in the same place the theater was. So we're determined to go back for a movie and for ice cream when the weather gets warmer. See more Epic Fails. Resolutio...
