Living The Sweet Life! With Those I LOVE. Friday, November 29, 2013. It won't happen again for another 80,000 years. Hanukkah and Thanksgiving falling on the same day. The menorah was our centerpiece this year. Very fitting, standing erect, reminding us. Of the miracle of the oil that stayed lit for 8 days in the face of oppression. Of a people free to worship their God. Our Thanksgiving was intimate and quaint. Just Mr. H. and I and our three little ones. It was quiet and peaceful and full of goodness.
