Saturday, March 1, 2014. Western wall in Jerusalem. We ate tremendously amounts of hummus, israeli salads, chopped herbs, tahini, olives and shakshuka. In the home land of the chef Yotam Ottolenghi. Our first morning we went to Manta Ray. A restaurant on Alma beach in Tel Aviv. It was there that I ate the best israeli salad, served as one of the many side dishes next to my poached egg. I was so amazed by how simple the salad was, but yet so tasty. Close to Manta Ray, is the nice neighborhood Neve Tsedek.
