I need to first iron this and then frame it. Links to this post. A present to my dear friend: A Sweete bag. A close-up of the emroidery:. Links to this post.

I got to choose my table first from all available tables, and choose one in the corner where there was light due to a huge window. After I put my display up, someone moved three big piles of chairs right in front of me, so I was kind of hidden in the corner. But I had light to do some embroidery, so I didn't mind. Links to this post. The finished thing, both sides:.

Elisheva's blog for all hand crafts and cooking related stuff. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Finishing things that should have been finished long ago. This project has been going on for some time, since I put it down many times to do something else. I had wanted to make a present for Freiherr Gottfried for his Baronial investiture, but I didn't have enough time to finish it before the said event. His Lady, Baroness Magdelena got her present. At the investiture, but he got his quite a lot later. An embroide...

Elisheva's blog for all hand crafts and cooking related stuff. Monday, November 29, 2010. Nothing is more fun than giving presents! A very worthy lady in Aarnimetsä got elevated to the Order of the Laurel last weekend. Vivat! I wanted to make her a present. My package of silks arrived late, so I had only 9 days to make the pouch I was planning to do. I did it in 8 days! I must have some super powers. Ja siellä kaikilla oli niin mukavaa. Elisheva's Kitchen: Jelling Wolves/Dogs
http://elishevaskitchen.blogspot.com/2013/06/jelling-wolvesdogs.html
Elisheva's blog for all hand crafts and cooking related stuff. Monday, June 3, 2013. After I embroidered the Mammen face embroideries, I did embroidered decorations for ThorvaldR's and Tofa's coronation garb. The original idea was to have black dogs with grey details on Tofa's garb and grey wolves with black details on ThorvaldR's. We decided to go with Jelling style and I took inspiration from the cup found in Jelling that gave the name to the art style. It can be dated to 958/59. I'm an amateur medieva...

Elisheva's blog for all hand crafts and cooking related stuff. Monday, February 21, 2011. Old work: The Tablero game board. I was asked to post about this, so here I go. This is my first SCA embroidery, and about fourth embroidery in my life, if one does not count that monstrosity from fifth grade at elementary school. I have a vague memory of making this around 1999. Cotton on linen, at least 8 different stitches, mainly satin stitch and bokhara couching. A close up near the centre. Links to this post.
