Life, or something like it. All I want for Christmas. It truly is a beautiful time of year and I plan to really soak it in. So, in deciding what I really want for Christmas all i ask for is love, peace, and happiness. And I pray it continues into the new year! Whether you are religious or not. I hope and pray that the season is merry and bright for you and your family and that the new year treats you well. For now I leave you with the best picture of my children seeing Santa. Merry Christmas, friends.

Life, or something like it. 9 months and beyond. One day my oldest may hate me for questioning everything, needing everyone’s number before she heads out, calling to make sure she is where she said she would be. But I don’t think this is a crime, I don’t think I am a horrible person, and I would hope that people would understand why I feel this way. My babies are my world and I intend to keep them whole. Life, or something like it. In this parenting process I don’t claim to know how others feel but I can safely assume that a lot of us are on the same page when it comes to raising our children. We want them to learn, grow, and overall be fantastic, successful individuals. Along the way we question ourselves. Are we doing this right? How should I discipline? Will they hate me when they’re older? Mom truth number one. Mom truth number two. Mom truth number three. Understand when you’re older. August 27, 2014.

November | 2014 | Life, or something like it..

https://elizabethfritzblog.wordpress.com/2014/11

Life, or something like it. It has been quite some time since I last wrote. This will be quick. So much has happened. On November 4th at 4:58 am I welcomed my sweet baby boy into this world. He weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces. There were no complications and everything went just as smooth as possible. Now I leave you with a few photos. Also, thank you to everyone who encouraged and supported me along the way. This journey was a rough one but the end result was worth it. I am so in love. :). November 13, 2014.

I know I need to pre-bolus more (among other things). I know I need to aim lower. (ALSO what this graph does not show is the 52 last week.). In other news. #Allsgood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). But I didn’t even know if she spoke English. And also I didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable in any way. I saw her again in the restaurant a couple of days later. Husband and two energetic kiddos. Eating a bowl of yogurt. “How the hell did she carb count that one? Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Re-reading some posts...

My Life: A Long Trip with T1D. Wednesday, February 12, 2014. What he thinks about my T1D. I've often wondered, "what does my husband feel/think about my T1 diabetes? Here's the thing: When I was dx'd and started treating , I said to him (my husband/then boyfriend.and to myself), "Don't [you dare] treat me any different. I just need to inject insulin now to cover the food I eat." Period. Also, here's this: I always was afraid (being a bit insecure) that the Dexcom (or another medical device) would somehow...

Just need a miniature quaffle. I agreed with her, and we had a bit of a chat about the joys of diabetes. By now, the restaurant was fill...

Life with Type 1 Diabetes and Motherhood, the highs and lows. Don’t want to miss a thing! What goes down must come back up, right? Raquo; Diaper Backpack Backpack! September 17, 2014. Everyone asks me what it is you need to have as a new mom…the “Essentials” so to speak and “must haves.” The diaper bag is an essential part of motherhood (for me it’s an actual backpack! Life with Type 1 Diabetes and Motherhood, the highs and lows. Monthly Archives: November 2014. November 5, 2014. So I decided to take a vacation from DEXCOM. Having gone through the pregnancy and achieving such tight control for over 9 months…well maybe, just maybe now I’m going through a bit of burnout. So what’s the hardest part of living with Diabetes? It’s always with me. Before and After Diabetes. On “Most Like...

September 22, 2017. Every year as autumn approaches, there’s a sense of excitement and tension in the air. It’s more than the changing leaves, the cooler air, the anticipation of the season. It’s a feeling that started at a young age when the school year was looming, and one that hasn’t quite gone away as I’ve grown into adulthood. The feeling that the wheels are starting to turn, that the speed of life is about to pick up a bit, and that you better hold on tight so you don’t fall off the tracks. It&#821...

Weddings and commitment ceremonies. We are visitors on this planet. We are here for ninety, a hundred years at the very most. During that period we must try to do something good, something useful with our lives. Try to be at peace with yourself and help others share that peace. If you contribute to other people’s happiness, you will find the true goal, the meaning of life. - The Dalai Lama. Rev Dr. Elizabeth Frumin. Narberth, PA 19072.
