Bach was a Printmaker. The Musical Offering theme begins with a notation of five notes and then echoed by another five in the play of hands. The fundamental creative principle is symmetry when the viewer experiences the relationship of each part to a whole. The initial geometric shape is reflected between two mirrored surfaces set at significant angles, which is exploited in many ways like a kaleidoscope. Musical Composition: Canon A 2. Bach was a Printmaker. In music the, counterpoint is the relationship between two or more voices that exist independently in contour and rhythm and are harmonically interdependant. Bach's counterpoint is particularly rich harmonically and directed tonally, while the individual lines still remain fascinating. While these relationships are described mathematically, it is the interpretations in visual works that really express how they interact. Featured Artistic and Musical Composition: BWV 778 E Minor.

These etchings demonstrate that ours is not a life governed by our feelings. Bach was a Printmaker. This unique series of prints was inspired by J.S. Bach's autographed original scores of the Art of Fugue. The original etchings on the Art of Fugue concerned a seven-pointed circle that evolved into a inner spiraled vortex. This was a formal graphic approach to the original theme BWV 1080, but it not develop into an edition. Something was missing the scores themselves! They were then printed over the etchings using an Epson digital inkjet plotter. Art of Fugue: BWV 1080.

Bach was a Printmaker. Represents my culmination towards the revelation that art. Are purely synthesized. This discovery began through the works of the Indian Poet Rabindranath Tagore. Who also lived in the one of music and art. An intimate of the printing process. Saw the mirror symmetry of print to plate. And the one of opposites.
